MAKiNG LiFE EASiER

I was looking for some craft/diy ideas, and I ran across this page.. The link is http://www.thedailybuzz.com.au/2011/11/25-clever-ideas_household-tips_storage-ideas/ ....but I think I'll keep up with it better here.  So this is a list of some things to make life easier :)

1. Hull strawberries using a straw... So much easier, less mess, && you don't waste so much goodness.

2. Rub walnuts over small wood scratches.  Looks like it never existed!

3. Remove crayon marks from TV screens, computers, & walls with WD-40.

4. Keep apples from browning in lunches by slicing them, put them back together, && wrap a rubberband around sliced apples.

5. Store bed linens in their matching pillowcases.  No more searching for matching sets :)

6. Place your music player (ex. iPhone/Pad) in a bowl.  The concave shape gives you an amplified sound!

7. Re-use a wet-wipes container for plastic bag storage.

8. Take baby powder to the beach with you!  Sand falls right off when you put it on.

9. Attach a velco strip to the wall for soft toys/lightweight stuffed animals.

10. Use wire to make a space on the ceiling to store things like wrapping paper.

11. Find tiny items like jewelry by putting pantyhose over your vacuum tube.

12. Make an instant cupcake holder by cutting crosses into a box lid.

13. How to fold a fitted sheet:

14. Use magnetic strips in bathrooms to hold bobby pins, tweezers, etc.

15. Store shoes in shower caps to keep dirty soles from you clothes when on vacation. Hotels usually have them!

16. Muffin pans can also be craft caddies!

17. Bread tags can be used to label different wires & cords. No more searching for the right appliance cord!

18. Bake cakes directly into ice cream cones. Less mess & cute :)

19. Microwave your own popcorn into a plain brown paper bag. Healthier.

20. Add a tension rod under your sink to hold spray bottles for more space!

21. Heart shaped boiled eggs::

22. Turn muffin tin upside-down & bake cookies on top. Cookie bowls for ice cream!

23. Freeze aloe vera in ice trays for soothing sunburn relief.

24. Use gutters for gardening :)

25. Egg cartons work for Christmas decoration storing.

1st Class Flyer

Sadie is officially in AL now :)  We woke up & left at 5:15 this morning. Caine was mad, as expected.  They had to wait about 30 min. to leave to Denver.  Then she flew first class to AL.  She was such a big girl.  Daddy said everyone told her she did so well.....especially since there was a crying baby to compare her too haha. Sade got to eat at MILOS!! unfair.

Sadie flying to AL from denver :) Could she get any cuter??

85 degrees

It was hot today.
Caine had school :) He made me a flower.

Yesterday wasn't as hot, but we went outside to play in the water with Zoey...

Turns out I make terrible faces in most of my pictures :) But that's ok. I have good days!

I finished my crocheting my baby sweater today. It's pretty cute! && I made homemade laundry detergent. We'll see how it works tomorrow.

Hunger Games & babies

How is it that I last posted something on here in July?? That's a long time.

Last night Adri & I went to see HUNGER GAMES at 6:15! It was really fun.  When we left though, we were in some serious need of deodorant haha.  It's a keep you on the edge of you seat movie.  At least for us.
Charlie & Ryan (Adriana's husband) went to see the movie at 9.  Their thoughts on the movie:::

1. Katniss Everdeen should have been prettier (I thought she was pretty)
2. Charlie took bathroom breaks at the most boring parts of the movie....when Katniss does nothing :)
3. Great action movie for chicks..Lacking for guys.

Overall the night was great.  We hung out out my house till about 1am I guess.

Sooo..on to the babies.

Caine:  Obsessed with dinosaurs.  He loves them.  His school is having the marraige of the letters Q and U.  Their theme is how Q&U are always together for the next couple of weeks.  A couple of days ago Caine ran up to me yelling "Oh No!! I ripped my lips off!"  He somehow managed to pull some of his unchapped lip skin up hahaha. And thought that his lip was gone forever. :)

Sadie-Rose:  Such a sweet girl.  She has a new friend, Zoey :)  Although, I think she may be a little jealous of her.  This past week she's been a little upset.  Charlie is gonna take her on another daddy/daughter date.  That usually solves most things.  Sadie has been trying to talk so much lately.  Her teacher Tauscha said she's doing SO well!  The interactive TV shows really help Sadie alot. She loves to sing their songs.  The girl can sing any song you want, but ask her to say help & she breaks down crying.  She's trying though :)

Rebecca:  7mths right now. She is almost able to crawl. && Charlie got her to hold her own bottle a couple weeks ago.  Baby Bec is the only baby to do it.  I guess the other two figured I would always do it :)

Charlie:  It's almost time for graduation!!! yay :) He is doing so well..Best grades in his program overall!  Plus, he has made alot of friends though this program & they are so nice :)

Today is Sadie's session with Tauscha.  I love these. Tauscha is seriously one of the nicest people I've ever met. AND she is super funny.  Carlen is also coming over to play with the kids while Brittany goes to do something.  I can't remember what is was.  So that will be fun!

I really need to finish crocheting this baby sweater before Brittany comes back to pick up Carlen.  I made the booties, but my goal is to have the whole thing done.  It's for her husband's coworker.  They are having a baby boy in May, so I figured I could see how this sweater turns out.  Hopefully good!
