chill

today is new years eve. And there is a winter storm. The wind has calmed some. Caine is looking at his flashcards. He loves the turtle. Charlie had to go back to work today. He works till sunday, gets monday off, works three days, and then he's off 3! So i lost 300 dollars this week. It sucked. What was worse is it fell off my car and someone picked it up in 5min. Oh well. Can't go back. We only have two bills left and i've already put money aside for that. We get paid on dallas' bday. Thats pretty cool. Sadie growled at me yesterday:) She also danced in our room. I taped it.

off days.

What to do? Charlie finished his work yesterday morning, and today is his first full off day. The wind is blowing like crazy though. Not sure what we will do today. Sadie is about to take her nap of the day. Poor caine...Last night i was reading when i heard him scream. It was awful. He didn't do it long, but it sounded like he had a nightmare. I've never heard it like that before. But he didn't get out of bed. They are upstairs playing in sadie's room right now. I've been wanting a george foreman grill for so long, and i found an off brand grill at family dollar last night for ten dollars:) we are finally gonna see how that antelope steak tastes tonight. Unless i decide to make burgers. Caine loves them.

Christmas holidays.

Merry christmas! We had a wonderful weekend. Christmas eve we went to daddy's house and opened presents. It was great. Christmas morning we opened the presents from AL after charlie got home. The babies had a great time. Today i set up Caine's workbench. He loved it. He even helped me put a screw in with his drill. And get this...The tools really work:) Then we set up the tent with a tunnel in sade's room. That was really fun for the babes. Sadie slept with her red headed baby again tonight. She wrapped her arm around it:) and Caine slept without me laying with him in his toy story bed. I'm so sleepy. I hope tomorrow is just as fun.

Kisses

We had a really great day yesterday. Charlie got his check cashed, and we got some things we needed from the store. The babies were pretty tired when we got home, so they napped while i cleaned. Sadie has started giving kisses. It's really sweet. She even makes the mwuah sound. :) Last night caine picked up one of charlie's empty cigarette packs and said ugly daddy ugly :) ha . . . Today we are just hanging out. Sadie is pretending her cup is a phone. And caine is playing cars. Charlie has to go back to work tomorrow night:( but at least he gets double time! We're gonna make cookies tomorrow and take them to daddy's and then it's just me and the babes.

i'm bored out of my mind. There is no one to talk to and i think i've checked fb like a million times today. I took the babies to see santa today. Caine sat with him but still didn't like it. Sadie ripped part of his beaRD out. That was the highlight of the day :) charlie is hunting. They shot 6 deer today.

The Crazies...

The crazies are Caine and Sadie. Mostly Caine really. They are calm right now because they veggietales are on. Today caine asked Becky Lou if the presents go under the tree :) baby sadie took another step today. But she's still pretty scared. Today is also charlie's bday! He's at work so that stinks. Tonight we are having fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and mac n cheese. I'm breaking out the cranberry sauce. I love that stuff... Caine has such good manners. He usually says thank you and please for what he wants, and he's recently started saying yes mam:) For someone who plays so rough with sade, is sure can't stand to be away from her. When i put her to sleep he tries to sneak up to her room and get her. He said happy earthday daddy this morning. But charlie had already gone to work. I really need to go to the library. I get books for myself and movies for the babies. Walmart didn't have any mickey mouse movies, but i know the library does. i just realized i need to start making dinner if we plan on eating.

Sadie's 1st birthday!

Sade had a great birthday yesterday. She slept a little later than usual, and took a trip to the doc to check on her ear, but did that in style with her super cute outfit. Her party was at 5:30pm. I had some sugar cookies with the letter S and 1 on them. And a pink cake with green dots. Sadie loves cake. ALOT. pics will be up this afternoon after i run some errands. I have some of c&s fighting over a toy...Charlie just left for work. He's having antelope spaghetti for lunch today:) with a mini lemon pie and cookies. Both babies have well checkups today. TIME FOR SOME SHOTS!

My sick baby.

My poor little Caine. He has been waking up in the middle of the night for something to drink lately, so i didn't think anything was wrong when he did it twice a night. Then he started hysterically crying when he would wake up from his nap. Yesterday he threw up so i took him to the hospital -doctors office wasn't open- ...he has an infection in both ears. And one is really bad. But he has woken up in a great mood today.

holidays

Thanksgiving was pretty fun. Charlie had to work, so i took the babies to the store and picked up a dessert. We went to my dad's house and ate. As usual, sadie was very excited about eating. caine ate turkey straight from the pan. It's his favorite. Becky lou sent us home with 2 plates made for charlie, and a ton of leftovers. So many that they are still in the fridge and all of us have been eating them. Daddy and charlie went hunting friday with rick, his son, and my littlest brother:) they all shot a doe each and got fifty pounds from it. We are keeping ours at daddy's because we don't have enough room in our freezer with all the other meat. There is a pic of the doe on becky's fb album. It's easy to find. Today we are going to take christmas pics. I'm gonna bring the babes snowsuits so they can play after we're done. Caine is running around yelling i'm bad :) lol and he kinda is this morning. I bought him some flashcards. He knows alot of them, but he just learned a new one.. penguin. now he wants to read.

Babies first dentist visit.

Today we went to the dentist. They were so nice there. The dentist came into the room and talked to caine about what he was going to do and use. I think caine really did well. He didn't like having to lay back, but who does? :) They did the same for sadie. Both babies have clean healthy teeth. The dentist said he could see where caine chipped his tooth, but its not a big deal since its a baby tooth. He did say that sadie will probably have to have some orthadontic work done. BIG SURPRISE lol. I'm sure caine will too though. Today is charlie's last day of work for the week. YAY! hopefully he can go to rapid city soon, so we can take a pic at mount rushmore. Becky said she could see blonde hair at sade's roots. And her hair is a little lighter than caine's so maybe her hair will be blonde. I'm pretty sure caine's is gonna stay red. Just got a phone call. We're going out to eat tonight courtesy of daddy :)

post birthday

today was pretty cool. what two year old can say they got a car?? LOL not. we did get a car though. its pretty ballin. so far caine has gotten money, a cars guitar, 10-1 activity box, cars basketball goal, cars rug with cars:) , scooby doo dvd, a hat, a cars pillow and blanket, a horse, toy story book, and hopefully i didn't forget anything. TOMORROW the babies stuff from nana and poppi arrives :)

caine's birthday:)

it's caine's birthday! so far he has just woken up, but we are watching scooby doo. i just put part 1 of his cake in the oven. IF it turns out ok, then it will be a racetrack. he's gonna wear his cars shirt today. WELL i should probably go check on his cake.

apple butter

i'm so tired. it takes forever to peel apples with a knife. but my crockpot is full with them for apple butter. I'm now waiting on caine to fall asleep to winnie the pooh. today he told his sister "sadie MINE! she gave it to me!" i had given them each a melted cheese sandwich. we then went to the playground across the street. caine had a pretty good time. SADIE couldn't do as much bc we were at the small playground today.. I picked up some frames to hang the babies photo shoot pics up. they are very cute. I think caine is about to fall asleep :)

ALABAMA vs. AUBURN

ok here's the deal. i've been reading the posts on fb and its pretty funny what everyone has to say about both teams. i've always thought that i want both teams to do well but if we are playing each other, my pick my auburn. now when i met charlie it was pretty much a done deal that my butt better be for alabama. IN FACT when i met him and told him i was an auburn fan, he didn't know if it was gonna work with us. now tell me how crazy that is. now i used to live in auburn, i had the cheerleader outfit, etc. my dad used to get the people who dressed up as aubie to come see me. but its like a dang battle over whether i'm for one or the other. so i've decided to go to the "i hope both teams do well, and if they happen to play each other, may the best team win." :)

miss sadie can stand up when i help her get started. she won't take any steps but its a start. she only started this today so i'll get pics of her soon. she is also trying to say her name... charlie and caine have gone off somewhere. I think he is taking him to a fast food place so caine can play on the playground and get a happy meal. this is charlie's first trip since he got his license:) sadie is playing in the bath right now and she's determined to get out and have my chips and mountain dew. she's mad i think bc she is sucking her thumb again.

computers...

i really need my computer. or any computer for that matter. it's so much easier to post with one, and i can't get pics with my phone on here. but this will do till then. yesterday i got my bookshelf put up. and i checked the oil in the van:) i've decided i'm going to take classes to be a mechanic. wouldn't that be fun?! I think so. today charlie is off work so i'm hoping to go get caine's bday stuff together. his cake is gonna be awesome! i got sadie's bday present yesterday. she is getting a pair of shoes and a carseat from us. so far i've bought the shoes. it must be time to eat breakfast bc caine has started freaking out :)

Halloween

Trick or treating was pretty fun..Caine walked around almost the entire time.  He couldn't keep up with everyone else, so we went to every other house :)

He liked it alot though..Most houses got a "thanks!" or "night night!"

It was pretty cool..Sadie was a bumble bee, but she stayed in the stroller.  There wasn't much she could have, so I didn't want to upset her.

I painted their faces. Hopefully next time Charlie can come, but I think he liked seeing their outfits and faces.

Sadie likes to make spit bubbles.  I showed her, and she loves it. Charlie hates it..he thinks it's gross. Thats why we do it :)

how to train a dragon

We ate chinese today..i love chinese food.  Charlie called the apartment today too, and hopefully we'll be able to move in this friday, instead of Monday.

Sean went with us to walmart today to get the babies both a toy box.  Then we took a trip to Dairy Queen!  Caine shared his ice cream with Sean.  Now we are watching How to Train a dragon :)  Caine seems to really like it.

Sadie is asleep, but she looked to cute today.  I told her she looked like she just came back from France.

Oh, and I tickled Charlie today..It was awesome.  He laughs alot, and he hates it..so I love it.

Days of our Lives

Today has been pretty great... We got a lot of stuff done this morning.
I got a library card today :)

The library up here is pretty amazing.  They have storytime for Caine in the mornings, and Families and Pajamas for both babies. 

Caine and Sadie got their picture taken at walmart today for halloween "fo free".. they were my two pumpkins.  However, on Halloween they are going to be a dinosaur and bumble bee.
I think next year Caine can be Peter Pan.. He loves watching the movie.

Caine has started picking up alot of things lately..Today he told sadie no, and popped her hand, when she tried to touch the DVD player.  He's also started copying sean..They play aaah-planes and eli-coppers together :) ...

Hopefully, Charlie will find out about the mine job today.  That would be great if he did.  Caine woke up and called for him this morning.  He also brought me his bob bob air-pants shirt to put on too :)  I've got to get to the apartment today to sign a couple of papers.  We move in this weekend! ya-ya

Lady Sadie is looking too cute today.. I would take a picture but I don't have a camera as of now.  Maybe she can keep her outfit clean until then.  It has flowers on it, and pink.  I guess i'll have to take pics inside today..It's rainy outside.  Today the high is 42, but feels like 24.  One weather site says snow november 1st :)

Church Sunday

We went to Westside Baptist today.  It was too cool.  We went to our Sunday school classes.
Mine was really good.  They are studying Judges.  Caine and Sadie did great in their class.  Caine was playing on a push truck before I left,  and he got some goldfish crackers.  Miss Sadie apparently had a great time.  The nursery ladies said she was very good.  The sermon for today was "Love thy neighbor".   I though it was a very good one and the pastor was great.  Also, at this church they haven't been passing the collection plates lately.  The sub-pastor said he wanted to try something different.  He heard about another church who took them away.  The idea is that no one wants a plate shoved under their nose to say "hey, you need to tithe right now".  Offering, to me at least, should not be done because you feel that others won't think well of you.  So I thought that was cool.

After church we went to a chinese buffet..or as my sister says "chinese buff-it" :)  It was amazing.  I love chinese.  And this one had a hibachi grill.  Those are my favorite.  Sadie ate an entire cup of vanilla ice cream, and Caine had like 20 gummi bears.  They were going crazy.

Now Sadie-Rose is asleep, the upstairs is clean, and Caine seems to be getting tired.  We are watching "vetales" which is Caine for Veggietales.

Cream Soda and Shrek

Isn't cream soda just about the best liquid ever??  Caine thinks so, and so do I. It's great with popcorn and a movie.

Today was pretty fun..I went to get a flu shot, straightened some things up with our townhouse, and Charlie went to Bighorn Mountains with my dad.  He is sleeping now.

Miss Piggy got her feelings hurt during breakfast over a cheese sandwich.
Caine is asking Fiona on Shrek if she's alright :) He has been wearing his John Deere boots all day.
